Who Andrea sees
What Andrea asks about
None of these are treated as separate complaints. Together, they form the wider picture.
- Sleep. Falling asleep, waking in the night, and how rested you feel in the morning.
- Energy. How it rises and falls through the day, and what drains it.
- Stress. What’s on your plate at the moment, and how it shows up in your body.
- Digestion and appetite, and for women, your cycle.
- What has changed, and when it started.
What a treatment is like
Appointments take place in a quiet treatment room in Upper Rissington. After you’ve talked things through, you rest comfortably while fine, single-use needles are in place. Many people describe acupuncture as calm and deeply relaxing.
In a patient’s words
“I’m so grateful for the care, kindness and support I received from Andrea throughout our IVF journey. The acupuncture sessions helped me feel calmer, more relaxed and supported during what was such an emotional and overwhelming time.”
Common questions
What does acupuncture feel like?
Most people feel very little as the fine needles go in, sometimes a brief tingling, warmth or dull ache. Many people describe treatment as calm and deeply relaxing.
Can Chinese herbal medicine be part of my care?
It can. Herbal prescriptions are individual, prepared in Andrea’s own dispensary and reviewed alongside any medication you take.
Should I still speak to my GP?
Yes. If you’re struggling with your sleep or your mental health, please also speak to your GP. Andrea works alongside the care you receive elsewhere.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly online, or call or message Andrea first.
